The pattern

Understanding isn't enough

You know something has to change.
You've felt it for a while.
Sometimes for a long time.

And it goes on.

You don't lack intelligence or willpower.
You think. You analyse. You understand.
You've read, you've listened, maybe you've already seen someone.

And yet, in the moments that matter to you,
you feel yourself holding back, standing still, not quite in your place.

This isn't a problem of understanding.
It's a matter of physics. You have to move, literally and figuratively.

The consulting room: the green armchair, notebooks and tea on the marble table.

You know the way. What's missing is the momentum to take it.

Who it's for

Tempo is for you if

  • You hold yourself back, in public, in relationships, in your life.
And you're no longer sure why.
  • You've built a decent life.
And you wonder whether it's really yours.
  • You reach the same conclusion every six months.
And it feels like nothing moves.
  • You want confidence you can feel.
Not confidence you recite to yourself.
  • You want to move forward for real.
Not talk for months without changing anything.

It's not for you if

  • You're looking for a technique to apply on Monday morning.
  • You want to talk about your past without changing anything in your present.
  • You want to change on the inside without changing anything others can see.
  • You can't make time for two sessions a month for six months.
  • You expect me to do the work for you.

If you're torn between the two lists, that's what the call is for.

The programme

Six months, two sessions a month, one direction

Tempo isn't a stack of sessions. It's a journey with a beginning, a middle and an end, built so the change holds once I'm no longer there.

The framework below is the same for everyone: the length, the rhythm, the key milestones. What goes into it is built for you, from your situation.

  1. Month 1

    The framing session, 90 minutes

Where you are, what's really holding you back, and what we're aiming for in six months. We build your programme together, from your situation and your life. You leave knowing exactly what we'll do, in what order, and why.

  2. Months 1 → 6

    12 one-to-one sessions, two a month

The rhythm does the work. Close enough together that you don't slip back, far enough apart for life to test you in between.

  3. 2 sessions

    2 sessions dedicated to presence

Posture, gaze, the way you walk, the way you take up space. It's what makes the change visible to others before you even mention it.

  4. When it helps

Hypnosis when it helps, and your own audio

Hypnosis isn't there to relax you.
It shifts your perception from the inside, and that's what makes it powerful: what seemed out of reach becomes possible.
You leave with the audio of your session. It's your anchor, to listen to again whenever you need to reconnect with that moment.

  5. Between sessions

    Personalised work between every session

Not exercises out of a manual. Things to put into practice in your life, built from your context and where you are, then picked up together at the next session.

  6. Every week

    A written check-in every week

You write to me, I reply within 24 hours on weekdays. The thread never breaks between sessions.

  7. Month 5

A photo shoot in the fifth month

A photographer, you, and five months of work behind you. Not a before-and-after. Pictures of you to take with you, once the road is travelled.

  8. Months 3 & 6

Two reviews, at 3 and 6 months

We look at what has shifted, what worked and what didn't, honestly, and without telling ourselves stories.

The method

We work on the inside and the outside

Two perceptions to shift. Yours, and the one others have of you.

On the inside

Everything starts with your perception.
Your fears, your beliefs, your assumptions, what you were taught to think about yourself. That's what decides what you allow yourself, and it decides long before you do.

NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis. We're not going to explain your fears and beliefs. We're going to move them.

And MO2i, to reveal the way you act when you're in your zone of excellence. The one you've been applying without thinking for as long as you can remember, and that you deeply enjoy. We don't teach you a method. We find yours.

The day you believe it's possible, that you're capable of it, that it's for you, you no longer need to motivate yourself.
You move forward, because you can't do otherwise.

On the outside

Your charisma: your posture, your gaze, your voice, the way you walk into a room.
I spent years working on this on stage, as a dancer, and it's exactly what most coaching leaves out.

Change you understand stays in your head.
Change you embody stays in your life.

Yi on stage with the dance group, arms raised, mid-movement.
Years on stage. That's where I learned what presence changes.

What changes

Six months from now

In concrete terms, this is what it looks like.

You're no longer invisible.

You're there, and people feel it.

You make the first move.

In love, at work, in that project you've been putting off for years.

You try, and sometimes it fails.

It no longer takes you weeks to recover.

You catch yourself saying yes to things that would have scared you.

And enjoying it.

You speak up to the person concerned, in the moment.

Without regretting it or feeling guilty afterwards.

People tell you you've changed, without being able to say exactly how.

No need to become someone else.
Just to stop holding back.

One story

Malika, coached by Yi for six months.

Six months later

What follows isn't an interview. It's a conversation between us that we simply recorded, in French: her words are translated as closely as possible to the way she said them.

Spring 2025. Malika has just left her job. A relationship ends.

“I'd reached a point of no return. I was sick of being on the receiving end of other people's emotions.”

“I did 12, plus 5, 17 years of therapy. […] And this time, my life, it changed.”

“It helps you understand your patterns. But if you've got no actions to put in place, it won't change.”

One thing held her back before she started.

“Hypnosis, that's what made me hesitate. I'd been hypnotised once in a restaurant, I'd heard some hardcore stuff.”

What earned her trust:

“Because I knew you. […] And there had already been good feedback.”

“I was sceptical about hypnosis, I didn't want to do it. I did it.”

What she remembers from one session:

“We'd done an NLP session. You had me make a gesture with my hands to let go, I was really tense, I couldn't take it anymore. […] You'd managed to relax my jaw. I could feel the difference in my body.”

Before

“I wanted to be loved. Whatever it took.”

Now

“It's nothing like before. Now, I don't let people walk all over me. […] I don't wait until I've reached the point where I can't take it anymore. […] I deal with it straight away. And most of all, I do loads of things for myself.”

What she expected when she started:

“I just pictured myself overthinking a bit less, while carrying on with the same life.”

She signs up for an intensive dance training course. She even showed her dance videos to her mother.

“She was so proud. […] In my family, we don't say things like that.”

“I met myself. […] That's how you could describe this coaching. Meeting myself.”

What she would tell a friend who feels stuck:

“I'd tell them to look at my life.”

The coach

Trained for this work. Forged by what I've lived through.

NLP Master Practitioner Ericksonian hypnosis Trained at the Bandler Academy Trained in MO2i Father of two daughters

I built exactly what was expected of me.
An engineer by training, eleven years in product management at large companies, lead product manager by the end. A team of more than twenty people, a budget of more than ten million euros.
From the outside, everything was fine. But only from the outside.

The truth is, I was fading a little more every day.
Until life stepped in. A divorce, a burnout.
You don't need to get to that point to start moving.

At 39, I made dance my profession. The stage. Deep work on myself.
What I discovered changed far more than the way I move.

Fifteen years of dance. Four podiums in international competition, including two titles.
And every week, a class where I get people dancing who were convinced they'd never manage it. Some have been with me since the very beginning, three years ago.

Today, I work with people who have succeeded on the outside and hold themselves back on the inside, over coaching journeys of three to six months.

What I'm offering you, I've been through myself. It's not a pose, it's my path.

They say it better than I do

People I've worked with, who took the time to write.

“His caring questions gently shook up my relationship with my image and my false certainties. I learned to let go of how others see me and to stop waiting for outside validation. […] I found a lot of calm in my daily life, but also the energy and the desire to move forward in my life, without procrastinating. Recently this has taken shape as a new, more fulfilling job, and then meeting my wonderful partner.”

Nicolas L. · 7 months ago

“I had become a kind of zombie, just putting up with life. […] From the very first session, he managed to understand, and above all to make ME understand, what my problem was. […] He also used hypnosis to help me really take the leap […] and not just talk about it for hours.”

Richard D. · 5 months ago

“An excellent coaching experience, more thorough and in-depth than I would have imagined! Yi helped me see myself and life's events differently, and the coaching dealt with far more than the issues I came for.”

Virginie · 1 year ago

“Yi is very attentive and strikes the right balance between empathy and stepping back. I was able to make progress on my issues thanks to his tailored coaching.”

The framework

TEMP

The framework, and the price

  • Six months. The framing session, then 14 sessions: 12 one-to-one and 2 dedicated to presence. In Paris or on video.
  • Six people at a time. That's what leaves me the time and attention this work needs. As a programme lasts six months, I take on one new person a month on average. If nothing is free when you get in touch, I'll tell you when the next place opens.
The whole programme €390 / month for six months. By bank transfer or in person.

And if, after the framing session, either of us feels it isn't the right time, we stop there and I refund you.

The six instalments spread the cost; they don't make it a subscription. You commit to the whole programme.

If now isn't the right time for you, that's an honest answer, and it deserves respect.

What's next

How it begins

1

You request a slot.

You pick a time and answer five questions. Five minutes.

2

I read it, and I reply.

I confirm the slot, or I tell you honestly if I think another kind of support would suit you better. Within 24 hours on weekdays.

3

We talk for thirty minutes.

It isn't a coaching session. We see whether it's right, on both sides. If it is, we build your programme at the framing session.

We decide together, and a no, in either direction, is a good answer.

Questions

The questions people ask me

Is it all in English?
Yes. The call, the sessions, the hypnosis, the written check-ins and your audios are all in English, from start to finish.
I can't really name what's holding me back. Is that a problem?
No, it's the most common case. Putting words to it is exactly the work of the call and then the framing session: you don't need to arrive with a diagnosis.
Hypnosis scares me.
It's the most common fear, and it comes from stage shows: you don't lose control, you stay lucid, and you'll never do anything you haven't decided to do. It's only used when it truly helps, never by default.
Is the programme the same for everyone?
The framework, yes: six months, two sessions a month, the same key milestones. The content, no: we build it together at the framing session and adjust it at each review.
What if I'm not in Paris?
Most of the work happens very well on video, hypnosis included, and only the photo shoot requires you to be in Paris. The two presence sessions normally take place in person, but we adapt for exceptional cases: I can travel to you, or we set up a video session designed for this work, with a camera framed to show posture and movement.
How is this different from therapy?
Therapy looks for where it comes from. Here we start from where you are, and we only look at the past when it's blocking the present.
Six months is a long time.
It's the time it takes for change to hold. In three sessions you can have a breakthrough; in six months you change the way you are.
What if it doesn't work?
The result depends mostly on what you put in, and what I guarantee is the framework, my presence and honesty. If, after the framing session, either of us feels it isn't the right time, we stop there and I refund you.
How much time does it take each week?
Allow two to three hours a week: two sessions a month, work to put into practice between sessions, and a written check-in. Most of it happens in your everyday life, not in front of me.

Now

And now?
